Ronald Chan

Ronald Chan leads CBRE’s European Hotels research function based in our London office. Mr. Chan partners with Rachael Rothman, Head of Hotels Research & Data Analytics, the Global Hotels Research team and the European Hotels business line to provide research and client support through data-driven solutions, customised research materials and reports.

Mr. Chan most recently joined CBRE in Hong Kong in 2015 as the head of the Analytics and Insights team within Valuation & Advisory Services. In his previous role, he spearheaded efforts to deliver data-driven insights, valuation intelligence, research-based strategies and consultancy services to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Before that, Mr. Chan worked for CBRE’s Asia Pacific Research for seven years, covering capital markets research and providing clients with regular research reports and thought leadership deliverables.

Mr. Chan has over 14 years of experience in real estate research and data analytics. He holds a BCom in Property Economics from Western Sydney University (Australia) and a Professional Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University (US). He is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and Australian Property Institute.
