Sasha Derby is a Financial Analyst in the Global Institutional Debt Advisory group, led by Tom Traynor and Tom Rugg. Sasha’s responsibilities include deal support, financial modeling, preparation of presentation materials, due diligence as well as interfacing with the lending community and clients. Sasha earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in both Finance and Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Economics from Northeastern University.

The Global Institutional Debt Advisory Group arranges property-level financing for institutional investors and owners of institutional real estate. The group covers all asset classes (office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, life science, retail, data center, healthcare, etc.), geographies (including international) and execution types (CMBS, bank balance sheet, life insurance company and debt fund).

Prior to joining CBRE, Sasha was an Investment Analyst at Republic Capital in New York, where he focused on evaluating investment opportunities.
